The Pricing Analyst will play a key role in supporting the companies strategic pricing initiatives, while maintain competitiveness in the market. This position will work out of our Fresno, CA and will report to the Inventory and Pricing Manager of the Johnstone Supply Orion Group. They will play a supporting role to all members within the Inventory and Pricing Department, as well as the Branch Operations and Sales Team.

Pay Range:  $19.00 thru $25.00 an hour 

 

The IDEAL candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years of industry experience focused on inventory and/or pricing
  • 2- or 4-year degree preferred
  • Good Communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel: V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, ect
  • Experience with Epicor Eclipse operating system preferred
  • Attention to Detail and a passion for data analytics
  • Knowledge of common pricing practices

Job Results and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities:

  1. Recommend pricing levels through historical sales and industry analysis
  2. Develop and implement pricing strategies to meet gross profit goals.
  3. Respond to all internal pricing questions or concerns
  4. Support the Sales team by providing completive price analysis
  5. Process factory rebate and claim back programs
  6. Assist sales with special inventory needs and job pricing
  7. Conduct analyses to forecast potential issues.
  8. Support purchasing agent and inventory control specialist
  9. ERP Maintenance
  10. Present a professional image at all times to customers, vendors and peers.
  11. Follow company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • 2- or 4-year degree preferred
